After enjoying one of the most dominant performances in Formula 1 history this year, Red Bull will face a massive entry fee for the 2024 season.
The Milton-Keynes-based squad won 21 of the 22 Grands Prix staged and cruised to double championship success.
It marked Red Bull's sixth Constructors' title while Max Verstappen wrapped up his third Drivers' Championship.
As part of the Concorde Agreement that came into effect in 2013, the FIA's entry fees for each F1 team are based on the number of points they scored in the previous campaign.
A base figure of $657,837 applies to each team, with an additional $5,000 added for every point that's scored, while the winner of the Constructors' Championship must pay $6,000 for every point.
Having scored a mammoth 860 championship points, a new record for F1, Red Bull must now pay out $7,445,817 to the FIA in order to compete in next year's campaign.
Ferrari and Mercedes will pay near equal sums on account of finishing only three points apart in the championship - but it is less than half Red Bull's fee.
