Daniel Ricciardo did not mince his words when he learned of Lance Stroll's reaction to their incident - and his subsequent 10 second time penalty - after the Aston Martin ran into the back of the RB, saying: "Fuck that guy." As the pack was readying itself for the first safety car restart, a slowing Fernando Alonso caused a concertina effect at the Turn 14 hairpin. The end result: Ricciardo just avoiding contact with Oscar Piastri in front and getting rear-ended by Stroll from behind, launching his RB into the air momentarily. After the race, Stroll explained why he thought the penalty was unfair , but insisted he did not think Ricciardo was to blame, either. So it begs the question: who was at fault for the collision?
