Ferrari unveil fresh F1 livery in special one-off 'blueprint' design

Ferrari has become the latest team to unveil a special livery for the United States Grand Prix this weekend.

The new colour scheme "celebrates the creative and engineering process that transforms an idea into a Formula 1 car," and designed in conjuction with Ferrari's title sponsor, HP.

The design "draws inspiration from the belief that every Ferrari begins with a line on paper," read a team statement, with sketches, technical drawings and blueprint-inspired graphics that are normally hidden beneath the finished bodywork, offering a visual tribute to the designers, engineers and technicians whose work lies behind every performance achievement."

It is not its first one-off livery used by Ferrari this year, having also created a new concept for its home race in Italy last month.

Ferrari has joined fellow front-runners Mercedes, as well as the two American teams Haas and Cadillac, in launching a fresh design for the event around the Circuit of the Americas.

The Italian squad enters the weekend hoping to fight for its third race victory of the campaign, having last stood on the top step of the podium at Silverstone.

Lewis Hamilton is the most successful driver around COTA, winning the grand prix five times - although his last win at the venue came in 2017.

Team-mate Charles Leclerc is also a winner around the track, triumphing at the 2024 edition of the race.
