Max Verstappen is continuing to trend upward on the Quote 500, which compiles the 500 richest Dutch people in the world.
The 28-year-old entered the current F1 campaign as a four-time champion and sought to defend his title.
Having been a non-factor in the title battle for much of the year, Verstappen has made a late surge in the fight against the McLaren drivers and is being seen as an outside bet for the championship this year.
Having enjoyed monumental success in the early 2020s, Verstappen has fashioned himself into one of the most successful drivers in F1 history, sitting third on the all-time race win and podium list.
His achievements have also brought great financial rewards. In 2022, Verstappen entered the Quote 500 for the first time with a net worth of €120 million.
Verstappen has steadily risen up the list over the last handful of years, and in 2024, he was 322nd in the list.
In the year's edition, Verstappen has taken a considerable step up the ranking and now finds himself at the 264th spot with a net worth of €260m.
Significantly, Verstappen is still the youngest name in the Quote 500, a feat he achieved when he entered it for the first time in 2022.
He is also the only athlete to be named on the list, with prominent figures such as Virgil van Dijk and Xander Bogaerts missing.
Charlene de Carvalho-Heineken remains the richest Dutch person with a net worth of 12.3 billion.
Towards the top of the list, however, there is a link to F1. Wijnand Pon occupies fifth spot, brother to Ben Pon, who drove one grand prix in 1962.
