Liam Lawson is the midfield driver under the most pressure, according to F1 fans, beating out Lance Stroll.
The Racing Bulls driver heads into the 2026 F1 season with a lot of eyes on him, having prevailed against Yuki Tsunoda in the fight for the seat alongside Arvid Lindblad.
The rookie, who finished third in Heat 2 of the RacingNews365 series determining which F1 driver heads into the campaign under the most pressure, was already widely expected to have earned the step up to F1, with Lawson beating the Japanese driver to the punch.
The New Zealander endured a difficult season in 2025, being demoted from Red Bull — in a straight swap with Tsunoda — just two rounds into the year.
However, having saved his F1 career, he must continue to perform. Conversely, the driver voted second in Heat 2, and also going through to the final round, was Stroll.
The Aston Martin man is widely viewed to have the safest seat on the grid, given his father owns the Silverstone-based squad.
Although with the move to Honda power units and high expectations for a title tilt, given the vast investment ploughed into the project, Stroll will have to perform to avoid the possibility of being replaced.
