Liam Lawson has revealed he had no contact with Helmut Marko during his disastrous Singapore GP weekend, in which he crashed twice.

The New Zealander clipped the Tur 17 exit wall in FP2 on Friday, before the machine was repaired, only for Lawson to lose control at Turn 7 in FP3, causing yet more damage prior to qualifying, where he secured 12th.

In the race, Lawson fell to 15th, with his future for 2026 uncertain, with Arvid Lindblad, Yuki Tsunoda, and Alex Dunne all candidates for the Racing Bulls seat, with team-mate Isack Hadjar heavily linked with promotion to Red Bull for next season.

Speaking after the weekend, Lawson revealed there had been no contact with Marko.

When asked by RacingNews365 if the motorsport advisor had been in contact after the accidents, Lawson simply replied: "No."

Then, also pushed by RacingNews365 as to what he could learn from the Marina Bay weekend, Lawson deadpanned: "Don't crash."

The Racing Bulls driver then looked forward to the United States GP, and was optimistic of a strong result.

"I'm sure we should have a good package in Austin, it's a track I enjoy," he said.

"I'm very, very excited to just get out of here and go straight to Austin."
