Lewis Hamilton has expressed his desire to "galvanise the troops" at Ferrari as it looks to reel in Mercedes in the F1 title race.
Hamilton is best placed to launch an attack on world championship leader Kimi Antonelli over the second-half of the season, and is 50 points behind the driver who succeeded him at Mercedes at the top of the standings.
Ferrari itself is 72 points behind Mercedes in the constructors', and has enjoyed better reliability than the Brackley squad over the first half of the season, with Mercedes suffering from power unit reliability woes.
Ferrari has not claimed a world title since the 2008 constructors' crown, with Kimi Raikkonen its last drivers' champion in 2007 - with Hamilton believing that the team is more "aligned" than ever with a positive "harmony" around the factory - which Hamilton wants to "galvanise."
"It has been a great first part of the season; it's good, but of course, it could be better," Hamilton told media, including RacingNews365.
"But I think there has been a real positive feeling; the harmony between myself and my personal team, and the racing team is better than it's ever been.
"It's taken us a good year to get to know each other, and we're more aligned than ever, and I think it is a really good foundation for us to build on moving forward.
"There is still a huge amount of work to do, and improvements we need to make in terms of, like, galvanising the troops, who are all so passionate.
"At the factory, I've never seen a love for a team like it, and a passion for the team, and it is just about directing that and steering it in the right direction."
