A downbeat Lewis Hamilton issued a nine-word response to his latest Ferrari humiliation after being eliminated in SQ1 for the Qatar Sprint race.
Hamilton was dumped in the first segment at the Lusail circuit, out-qualifying only the Alpine duo of Pierre Gasly and Franco Colapinto as he woes continued after his Las Vegas horror last time out.
Attending to his mandatory post-session media duties, Hamilton was asked for his thoughts on the session by Sky Sports F1's Rachel Brookes, with all three questions generating nine words from Hamilton in total, if his final answer is counted once as he repeated it.
Check out the transcript between Brookes (RB) and Hamilton (LH) below.
RB: Can you tell me how tricky the car was to drive out there today?
LH: The same as always.
RB: You tried the higher downforce rear-wing, was it no better for you?
LH: No.
RB: Are there any positives you can take into tomorrow? Is it going to be a test session for you?
LH: The weather is nice.
RB: Sorry?
LH: The weather is nice.
