Gabriele Mini will get to grips with the Alpine F1 car for the second time after the team announced he will deputise for Pierre Gasly in Sao Paulo practice.
Mini made his grand prix weekend debut last time out in Mexico City, taking over Franco Colapinto's A525 machine for the Argentine's second missed season of the season.
However, Gasly still had one session left to take - meaning he will be the driver to stand down for the first 60 minutes of running at Interlagos.
Mini is one of four confirmed drivers so far, with Freddie Slater in for Nico Hulkenberg at Audi, Leonardo Fornaroli for Oscar Piastri at McLaren, and Luke Browning in for Carlos Sainz at Williams.
Colton Herta is also expected to get another FP1 outing to finally qualify for a superlicence at Cadillac.
