Lewis Hamilton has not been handed a penalty following the British Grand Prix following an investigation into an alleged yellow flag infringement.
The seven-time world champion was already penalised early in his home race at Silverstone for a false start, resulting in a five-second time penalty.
That appeared to end his chances of a podium finish, before some luck was on his side with both George Russell and Kimi Antonelli encountering problems.
In addition, he overtook Max Verstappen on track, well before the Dutchman crashed out at Turn 15.
Verstappen's crash triggered a late safety car, which Hamilton pitted under, falling behind Russell, who did not stop. Unfortunately, the race finished behind the safety car, leaving the Ferrari driver to finish in third.
However, the 41-year-old found himself placed under investigation for an alleged yellow flag infringement during the pause in action following Verstappen's crash.
Hamilton visited the stewards shortly after the podium celebrations, with it having been decided that a second punishment of the afternoon was not required. He has, though, received a reprimand.
