F1 drivers are set to face near-perfect conditions for today's Italian Grand Prix at Monza.
The race, which is due to start at 15:00 local time, 14:00 BST, and run for 53 laps, is set to be run in 32 degrees Celsius heat with zero chance of rain.
However, the wind is not set to aid drivers, as it is set to be blowing directly from the east throughout, and thus not create conditions for a headwind into Turn 1 to aid overtaking.
The pit straight at Monza runs directly north, meaning an easterly wind means it is blowing in from left to right from the driver's view on the pit straight.
This does correspond to a tailwind into Turn 4, again not ideal for overtaking. A headwind is roughly present on the run to the Ascari chicane, but given this section of the track is covered by trees and the old Monza banking, its impact is set to be negligible.
