Isack Hadjar is set to take part in the post-season test with Red Bull later this weekend, marking his first appearance with the team following his promotion.
The Frenchman enjoyed a positive rookie campaign this year as he joined the F1 grid after several years in the Red Bull junior programme.
His campaign peaked at the Dutch Grand Prix, where he scored a maiden podium, joining future team-mate Max Verstappen in the top three.
Yuki Tsunoda's struggles at Red Bull raised the expectation that a change was to be made, with Hadjar in the natural position to take over the seat.
Ahead of the season finale in Abu Dhabi, Red Bull communicated that Hadjar would drive for the team next year.
RacingNews365 understands Hadjar's first appearance with Red Bull since his promotion will come at the post-season tyre test on Tuesday in Abu Dhabi.
The 21-year-old will jump behind the wheel of a mule car, adapted to simulate the 2026 loads as Pirelli collects data on next year's tyres.
Hadjar has driven for Red Bull before in three free practice outings across the 2023 and 2024 seasons.
Ayumu Iwasa will drive the second Red Bull car as part of the young drivers' test.
