After the thrills of Singapore, F1 heads to an iconic track this weekend with Suzuka playing home to the Japanese Grand Prix.

Titles have been decided here, all-time great races and has been the scenes of, let's say, one or two controversial collisions down the years.

Max Verstappen won here last year in a rain-shortened race to clinch his second world title - albeit in confusing circumstances.

The race started in heavy rain, was red-flagged after Carlos Sainz crashed on the first lap and didn't get going again for nearly two hours.

In the end, a rules quirk handed Verstappen full points despite the fact that three-quarters distance was not reached, with the sliding scale of points only being dished out if a suspended race could not be resumed.

It is not possible for Verstappen to become a three-time champion this weekend, with that likely to come in Qatar.
