Max Verstappen led from lights to flag to secure a dominant victory in the Japanese Grand Prix.
The Dutchman confirmed a second successive Constructors' championship for Red Bull with the result to bounce back from a disappointing weekend in Singapore.
Lando Norris finished second for McLaren ahead of rookie teammate Oscar Piastri, who clinched his first F1 podium finish.
Ferrari's Charles Leclerc was unable to challenge the top three and ended the race where he started in fourth, with Mercedes' Lewis Hamilton holding off the Monégasque's teammate Carlos Sainz for fifth.
George Russell was a frustrated seventh after numerous tussles with Hamilton and Mercedes team orders, with Fernando Alonso a lonely eighth for Aston Martin.
Pierre Gasly and Esteban Ocon secured a double points finish for Alpine after a difficult start to the weekend as only 15 cars reached the finish line.
