Ferrari has teased the possibility of a Niki Lauda-inspired special livery for the Italian Grand Prix at Monza this weekend.
The race marks 50 years since Lauda won his first world championship for the Scuderia with the iconic 312T machine, clinching it with a third-place finish in front of the Tifosi.
In a clip posted to social media, Ferrari revealed that drivers Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton would be sporting blue team kits this weekend, a colour synonymous with the Ferraris of Lauda's era.
Lauda's 1975 success was Ferrari's first since John Surtees in 1964, with the Austrian adding a second title in 1977 before leaving for Alfa Romeo.
Hamilton was particularly close to Lauda, who died in 2019, having been convinced to join Mercedes from McLaren by the three-time champion ahead of the 2013 season.
