George Russell will start the Brazilian Grand Prix from P1 after passing Max Verstappen for the lead in Sao Paulo.
The Mercedes driver used DRS to slipstream past the Red Bull driver to cement P1 at Interlagos.
Carlos Sainz finished second with Lewis Hamilton third, but Sainz is taking a five-place penalty meaning it will be a Mercedes one-two on the grid.
Pole-sitter Kevin Magnussen bagged one point for finishing in eighth place.
