Christian Horner is “ringing every team owner” in the F1 paddock as he looks for a route back to the sport.

Horner was sensationally dismissed from his Red Bull team principal role earlier this year, a position he held for 20 years.

During that time, Horner enjoyed highly competitive periods with Sebastian Vettel and Max Verstappen, becoming one of the most successful team leaders in the sport's history.

Since his dismissal, Horner has been linked to various projects, including Aston Martin. Team boss Andy Cowell failed to rule out a potential role for Horner at the team ahead of the Singapore Grand Prix weekend.

However, after speaking to Aston Martin owner Lawrence Stroll, Cowell asserted there are no plans for it to bring Horner on board.

“I had a chat with Lawrence to find out what he knows,” Cowell told media including RacingNews365.

“It looks as though Christian’s ringing up pretty much every team owner at the moment, so you can pass the question along.

“I can clearly say there are no plans for involvement of Christian either in an operational or investment role in the future.”

Haas team boss Ayao Komatsu revealed earlier this week that Horner reached out to the American squad, but talks didn't progress into anything of significance.

When Williams team principal James Vowles was asked if Horner had approached the Grove-based squad, he bluntly replied: “No.”

RacingNews365 expanded the topic with Vowles and asked the Briton if he would consider a conversation with Horner.

“I think you should always welcome a conversation,” Vowles replied. “There’s no point closing the door.

“But I think we are very happy with the structure we have, and it’s working. So I don’t see any reason to make any changes to that.”
