Nick Cassidy was a frustrated figure after the opening race of the Formula E season finale in London, after several collisions left him feeling like a "bouncing wall".
The Jaguar driver entered the race with a slim nine-point lead in the standings after team-mate Mitch Evans claimed pole. Cassidy started in 17th but had exceptional pace, only to be hit hard by reigning world champion Jake Dennis.
It dropped Cassidy multiple places, as did a later collision with Stoffel Vandoorne, who forced the New Zealander into the wall.
Somehow, Cassidy survived the chaos to secure seventh and six crucial points, which keep him within seven points of the world title which will now be decided on Sunday.
Cassidy was, understandably, disappointed after the race and the way he was treated by other drivers.
"I guess people know my position, that I need to finish in that position," Cassidy told RacingNews365.
"For sure I was a bouncing wall, but I guess I can't comment too much on it that was just reality and that's what happened."

'Hungover' or crying on Monday
Despite the disappointment of losing the championship lead, Cassidy is remaining focused on the positives ahead of the season finale.
His pace was excellent throughout Saturday and he is still very much in the fight for the Formula E crown.
Ultimately, Cassidy recognises he has to give it everything and will feel one of two ways on Monday morning after the last race.
"Got to take the positives," Cassidy stressed. "Finished P7 from P17 on a track like this.
"We're still in the fight, still got a chance to win the world championship. You just got to be positive.
"You either wake up with a hangover on Monday or you wake up and cry."
