Bahrain Grand Prix 2023 The latest F1 news about the 2023 F1 Bahrain Grand Prix
The Bahrain Grand Prix will take place on 5 March 2023. The Bahrain International Circuit will be the venue for the first race of the new Formula 1 season.
First run in 2004, the Bahrain International Circuit has played host to every addition of the Bahrain Grand Prix in Formula 1. The 5.412km track is no stranger to overtaking, with the wind and ever-changing temperatures challenging drivers as they look for the perfect set-up. The event has been held at night since 2014.
The first running in 2004 saw Ferrari dominate, with Michael
Schumacher getting the better of Rubens Barrichello. While Mercedes have excelled at the venue in recent seasons, there was a return to the top spot for the Scuderia in 2022. Charles Leclerc kicked off the season by claiming victory ahead of teammate Carlos Sainz.
