Max Verstappen sealed his first victory of the 2023 season 11s ahead of teammate Sergio Perez and Fernando Alonso.
The Spaniard had a surprise promotion to the podium after Charles Leclerc made a dramatic exit from the race with just over 20 laps to go.
With the Aston Martin driver closing in on Carlos Sainz, he overtook the Ferrari in the closing stages to take a podium on his debut with Aston Martin.
Lewis Hamilton rounded out the top five having suffered from tyre degradation throughout the race, while Alex Albon took points for Williams after a brief battle with Yuki Tsunoda at the end.
Lando Norris was last having needing to pit every other lap due to a hydraulics failure, while teammate Oscar Piastri retired with a suspected electronics issue.
