A weather warning has been issued for this weekend's Austrian Grand Prix as soaring temperatures sweep across Europe.

Several countries across the continent are set to experience potentially record-breaking temperatures for June this week, with some expected to surpass 40 degrees Celsius.

Honda issues defiant message after shocking start: 'We will never give up'

Honda Racing Corporation President Koji Watanabe has issued a defiant video message on social media, insisting that the Japanese manufacturer "will never give up" after its shocking start.

It has been a disastrous opening seven rounds for Honda and its partnership with Aston Martin, with the duo rooted to the back of the grid.

Haas to give Le Mans 24 Hours winner latest FP1 outing

Haas has announced that Ryo Hirakawa will deputise for Esteban Ocon in FP1 of the 2026 Austrian GP weekend - his first outing of the season.

Hirakawa completed all four of Haas's mandatory FP1 rookie sessions in 2025, after also completing one for Alpine in Japan, and will get his first grand prix experience of '26 on Friday at the Red Bull Ring.

Carlos Sainz reveals surprising positive to Williams woes after 'test of faith'

Carlos Sainz has explained how Williams has made "very interesting changes" in the aftermath of its poor start to the 2026 season.

Williams was expecting to challenge at the head of the midfield in 2026 with the new technical regulations, but the FW48 machine was delivered late and considerably overweight.

Liam Lawson names decision that 'destroyed' his Red Bull before brutal axe

Liam Lawson has recalled a decision made by he and his then-Red Bull team that "destroyed" his car in his final race before his shock 2025 demotion.

Lawson was promoted by Red Bull into the senior team for the start of the 2025 season, replacing Sergio Perez alongside Max Verstappen, but only lasted two weekends before he himself was demoted - back to Racing Bulls in a swap with Yuki Tsunoda.

George Russell recalls 'life or death' decision after 'horrifying' F1 crash

George Russell has recalled the "life or death" question he faced after witnessing the "horrifying" crash of Zhou Guanyu at the 2022 British GP.

In his first British GP for Mercedes, Russell was caught up in a start-line accident, where, on the hard tyres, he was away and made contact with Pierre Gasly's AlphaTauri.
