The Aston Martin F1 team has announced the launch of a brand new simulator, available to purchase by fans.

The motion simulator has been built by Memento Exclusives and commemorates two-time world champion Fernando Alonso after his recent 400th F1 race event.

It has been created to offer “an unrivalled racing experience” for fans. Although Aston Martin and Memento have produced simulators before, this version is different as it adds movement to the setup.

“This is a really exciting collaboration with our partner Memento Exclusives, bringing the world of Formula One to life for sim racers, collectors and our fans alike,” said Aston Martin head of licensing and merchandise Matt Chapman.

“The look and feel of the motion simulator makes it an immersive experience and the addition of movement builds upon the previous simulators we have collaborated on together.”

While they no doubt offer the fan a unique experience behind the cockpit, a significant amount of money will need to be handed over to get one.

The base model currently sits at just over €86,000 - however should you wish to add to the aesthetic and include a front wing, the price rises to €111,000.

It gets even pricier from there with the fitting of the motion rigging set-up bumping the cost up to €123,000.
