Alpine has issued a statement following the FIA stewards' decision to rescind Pierre Gasly's Monaco penalties and hand him third place back.
Gasly received two five-second time penalties for speeding in the pit lane, dropping him from third on the road to seventh in the final results - but Alpine lodged a Right of Review appeal, which was heard in Barcelona.
Ultimately, the stewards found that 'zones' in the Monaco pit-lane were actually shorter than the advertised distance - meaning a car could appear to go faster through the pit-lane than the 60kph limit.
It was reported that the first zone through the pit-lane was 2692cm, but through another check post-race, it was found to be 2615cm - meaning it was 77cm shorter than believed, hence the penalties, which all occured in this first zone, and was something not aware to the stewards.
Ultimately, with this knowledge, the stewards cancelled both of Gasly's penalties, and moved him back to third, with Isack Hadjar now fourth, Oscar Piastri fifth, Liam Lawson sixth, and Arvid Lindblad seventh.

Alpine statement in full
"We welcome the decision made by the FIA to deem our Right of Review as admissible following the final classification of last weekend’s Monaco Grand Prix.
"As a result, the Stewards have rescinded the two five-second penalties imposed on Car #10, which reinstates the team’s third-place finish.
"We would like to thank the FIA and Formula One Management for its transparency and co-operation throughout the Right of Review process and for reaching this decision.
"The team’s focus is now very much on this weekend’s Barcelona-Catalunya Grand Prix and striving for the best possible result with both of its cars."
