Fernando Alonso has hinted he could move to Aston Martin's world endurance programme after his current F1 deal expires in 2026.

Alonso is gearing up to work with iconic F1 designer Adrian Newey for the first time in 2025 after Aston Martin signed the outgoing Red Bull chief technical officer, with the '26 machine set to be the first fully Newey-designed car Alonso has driven.

Aston Martin make Verstappen stance clear after Newey capture

Aston Martin boss Mike Krack says "the door is always open" for Max Verstappen to join the team after Adrian Newey's signing.

Newey was unveiled as managing technical partner of the Silverstone-based team ahead of the Azerbaijan Grand Prix, and will start on April 1st 2025 after stepping down as Red Bull chief technical officer.

FIA makes modifications to Azerbaijan GP F1 track

The FIA has decided to lengthen the DRS zones F1 drivers will be able to use in this weekend's Azerbaijan Grand Prix. 

The Baku track features two activation zones, one on the exit of Turn 2 and the other part of the way down the long pit-straight and into the braking zone for Turn 1.

Red Bull commits to radical 'upgrade' for Verstappen and Perez

The Azerbaijan Grand Prix is an important one this season as it is destined to either confirm or subvert the trends seen across the field in the two races following the summer break. 

It is a race in which Red Bull has multiple chances of managing the points advantage accumulated by Max Verstappen in the first part of the season as the field closes in on the RB20.

McLaren to impose team orders on Piastri in Norris F1 title hunt

McLaren has signalled it is preparing to impose team orders on Oscar Piastri to aid Lando Norris's F1 title bid. 

Heading into the Azerbaijan Grand Prix weekend, Norris is 62 points behind leader Max Verstappen with 232 points left up for grabs across the final eight rounds. Piastri is 106 behind Verstappen.

Bottas drops telling hint over F1 future as Audi decision looms

Valtteri Bottas has outlined the "pretty straightforward" choice facing Mattia Binotto over the identity of the second Audi F1 driver, as he dropped a telling clue about his future.

The sole open remaining seat on the grid, outside of Red Bull/RB, is the second Stake F1 drive for 2025 alongside Nico Hulkenberg, with Bottas vying to extend his grand prix career by landing the seat, with current team-mate Zhou Guanyu expected to fall off the grid.
