The third round of the 2025 F1 world championship takes place at the Suzuka Circuit, host of the Japanese Grand Prix.
The track is a favourite of drivers and fans alike for the challenge it presents while also allowing for overtaking opportunities.
Lando Norris enters the round in the lead of the championship with Max Verstappen trailing by eight points.
Verstappen has won the last three editions of the Japanese Grand Prix and will aim to extend that streak this weekend to snatch his first win of the new season.
Friday will see two practice sessions take place during the day with sunshine and dry conditions expected.
The temperature will likely sit at roughly 16 degrees while a moderate north-westerly wind will blow across the circuit.
There is some rainfall forecast for Saturday, however, this is set to arrive at the circuit after the crucial qualifying session.
More cloud cover is expected compared to Friday, but the temperature is again set to stay at 16 degrees while the wind will switch to a south-easterly breeze.
Sunday marks race day and the most important moment of the weekend - however, it's also the day when rain is most likely to hit the track.
The grand prix is due to start at 14:00 local time and there are showers predicted to hit the track throughout the scheduled 53 laps.
However, moments of sunshine are also forecast, meaning track conditions could change from wet to dry throughout and offer a great challenge to drivers and teams alike. The wind will blow from the southwest with a moderate strength.
