Charles Leclerc has taken pole position for the Las Vegas Grand Prix, beating team-mate Carlos Sainz to the top spot.
However, Sainz will drop down the order due to a grid penalty, with Max Verstappen set to join Leclerc on the front row after qualifying in third.
Williams starred in qualifying with Alexander Albon and Logan Sargeant ending the session in sixth and seventh respectively.
Amid their battle for second place in the Drivers' Championship, Sergio Perez and Lewis Hamilton failed to reach the Q3 session after dropping out in the second segment.
McLaren suffered a disastrous session as both Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri failed to advance past the first qualifying segment.
