Toto Wolff has revealed that Friday evening's team principal dinner was "surprisingly fun", with the Austrian joking that the "knives were packed back in the pocket".
All 10 team bosses, F1 CEO Stefano Domenicali and Pirelli motorsport director Mario Isola met for dinner following the opening day's track action at the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix.
The meal was organised by Domenicali, with Wolff sat between the former Ferrari boss and RB CEO Peter Bayer.
Mercedes' team principal revealed on Saturday following the third practice session that tension was present initially at the meal, before everyone relaxed and spoke to each other.
"Well, first of all, it was surprisingly fun," Wolff told Sky Sports F1. "It was a bit tense at the beginning.
"I wasn't planning to talk to everyone, but at the end, we were talking to each other and the knives were packed back in the pocket.
"And you know, Stefano said a good thing about how lucky we are to play this sport and be involved. And so we had a good time that was really nice to see."

A meal also took place in Imola back in 2022, with one having not taken place last year following the cancellation of the Grand Prix as a result of flooding in the region.
Wolff avoided sharing the topics discussed during the meal, although he did reveal that the "current times" were spoken about very little.
"We, I think, we didn't particularly spend a lot of time talking about the current times," he said.
"But it seems like it's the most competitive it has ever been in terms of the teams together."
