There will be a fresh feel to the 2025 F1 grid with six rookies taking up spots after a clear-out of the old-guard. Daniel Ricciardo, Sergio Perez, Kevin Magnussen and Valtteri Bottas have all taken their leave ahead of 2025, with some new and familiar faces coming aboard. The pure rookie class of 2025 will be Andrea Kimi Antonelli, Gabriel Bortoleto and Isack Hadjar, with Ollie Bearman and Jack Doohan competing in a number of grands prix in 2024. Liam Lawson is the most experienced 'rookie' with 11 grand prix starts ahead of embarking on his first full season as Max Verstappen's team-mate following Perez's departure.
