Max Verstappen starts on pole position for the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix, with McLaren's Lando Norris alongside him. Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz will start behind the pair on an all-Ferrari second row.
It is the first time F1 has raced at the Imola Circuit since 2022, with last year's edition of the race cancelled due to the extensive flooding in the region.
The 2024 running of the grand prix will get underway at 15:00 Central European Summer Time, which is 14:00 in the United Kingdom and Ireland.
Whilst rain has threatened over the weekend, the race is expected to be dry. There is just a 10-15 per cent chance of precipitation during the grand prix. Although the probability of rain increases slightly in the case of a red-flag disruption, it remains a low chance.
The weather for the race is characterised as sunny intervals with light winds, with the wind direction predicted to change during the event. It will start from the north east, before later blowing from the east.
Temperature is expected to remain consistent throughout the grand prix at 25°C, which will feel slightly hotter at 28°C. The UV Index is listed as high.
