Williams has confirmed Victor Martins will take up reserve driver duties for the Singapore Grand Prix, stepping in for Luke Browning.
Browning is absent from Marina Bay as he competes in Rounds 9 and 10 of the Super Formula Championship at Fuji Speedway, Japan, with the double-header forming the penultimate round of his campaign with Kondo Racing before the season finale at Suzuka.
Martins' call-up marks his third stint with the trackside team this season, having last fulfilled reserve duties at the Belgian Grand Prix.
The Frenchman joined the Williams driver academy in 2025 before being promoted to test and development driver this year, a role in which he has worked closely with Alex Albon and Carlos Sainz on car development and set-up work across race weekends.
Martins arrives in Singapore with a broad base of experience beyond the Williams garage. He spent three seasons racing in Formula 2 with ART Grand Prix between 2023 and 2025, picking up multiple race wins and podiums, and claimed the Anthoine Hubert Award as the series' top-placed rookie in his debut campaign.
The 24-year-old also competes in the World Endurance Championship's Hypercar class for the factory Alpine Endurance Team, sharing the No. 36 Alpine A424 LMDh alongside Jules Gounon and Frédéric Makowiecki, having made his Le Mans debut this year.
He has additionally taken part in Formula E testing with the Nissan squad, including rookie and pre-season sessions in Berlin and Madrid.
Discussing his latest reserve outing, Martins said: "It's always great to be back trackside with the Williams F1 Team as reserve driver. Being here gives me the chance to work closely with the team, and for me as a driver, it's also a great learning opportunity for my own development.
"Having been part of the Williams family since 2025, I'm looking forward to another weekend of supporting to help maximise our results."
