RacingNews365.com, together with World's Fastest Gamer and current Porsche Cup star Rudy Van Buren, bring you on a lap of the Baku City Circuit to show you the unique characterics of the venue.

Blending the old parts of the city with the new, the circuit is a ferociously fast sequence of 90 degree corners and high speed straights, split by a treacherously narrow section past a picturesque castle.

It's a circuit of records too, with the longest straight in Formula 1 at 2.2 kilometres, and the narrowest piece of tarmac seen all year. The castle section is just 7.5 metres wide, offering tremendous contrast as drivers negotiate the lap.

Baku was added to the Formula 1 calendar in 2016, and has become a firm favourite since due to the circuit producing some great racing and memorable overtakes.

Follow us as we, along with Van Buren, take you on a lap around the streets of Baku by watching the video below
