Video: AlphaTauri fire up 2023 F1 car for the first time

As the start of the 2023 Formula 1 season edges ever closer, preparations are well underway for AlphaTauri at their Faenza factory, with their new car's Honda engine being fired up for the first time.

AlphaTauri have reached a milestone moment in their preparations for the 2023 F1 season by firing up their new car for the first time.

A video released by the team shows the squad and their Honda colleagues gathering to fire up the engine at their factory in Faenza.

The crew watch on as the AT04 comes to life, marking a traditional stage of the Formula 1 pre-season.

AlphaTauri will officially launch their 2023 challenger on 11 February, with Nyck de Vries joining the incumbent Yuki Tsunoda to complete their new driver line-up.
