Max Verstappen's win in the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix at Imola was his 59th from 192 races, and he has now passed another of Lewis Hamilton's career records.

Since their epic, and rather controversial, 2021 title battle, their fortunes have split with Hamilton not winning a race since Saudi Arabia that year, whilst Verstappen has won 40 times and picked up his three world titles, and looks set for a fourth this year.

As a result, Hamilton's win percentage has dived over the past two-and-a-half years from the 35.88% it was after his 103rd win in his 287th start in December 2021 in Jeddah to the 30.38% it is today after a 52nd grand prix without a win at Imola last time out.

By contrast, Verstappen's rise has been evident, with 59 wins from his 192 starts. That is a win percentage of 30.72%.

It is enough to move Verstappen into fourth place on the all-time list, bumping Hamilton down to fifth, although the Dutchman has a long way to go if he wants to add the outright record to his CV...
