Max Verstappen has scored four podiums, including victories, across the opening eight rounds of the current F1 season, a reality that underlines the inconsistency of his Red Bull.
However, the fluctuating fortunates of the RB21 is inherited from its predecessor, the RB20, which the Dutchman raced to the rostrum 50 percent of the time over the closing six weekends of the previous campaign as well.
That 14-round sample showcases the peaks and troughs the Milton Keynes squad and its four-time F1 drivers' champion have endured of late.
What makes that run of form even more noteworthy, is that the streak sees perfect alternation between podium and non-podium finishes for the 27-year-old from the United States Grand Prix last year until now.
Despite the patchy results, Verstappen's ability to maximum performances and the pace of his car means he trails drivers' championship leader Oscar Piastri by just 25 points, with Lando Norris only 22 ahead of him.
The sequence dictates the 116-time podium finisher will add another trip to the rostrum to his portfolio at the Spanish Grand Prix, at a circuit he has won at for the past three seasons - or, it will come to an end.
