Max Verstappen has called on Red Bull to investigate what led to his unsafe release during the Miami sprint.
Verstappen was running in third place when he entered the pit lane to switch to slick tyres as the track began to dry out at the Miami International Autodrome.

Lando Norris has accepted a surprise pole position defeat to Max Verstappen ahead of the Miami Grand Prix, outlining that "Max did a Max lap".
McLaren entered qualifying as the clear favourites, something which was further emphasised after Oscar Piastri and Norris finished one-two in the first two stages of the session.

Toto Wolff fires Red Bull 'panicked' criticism after pit lane scare
Mercedes team principal Toto Wolff has criticised Red Bull following the pit lane collision between Max Verstappen and Kimi Antonelli, with him insisting "somebody panicked".
Antonelli started on sprint pole but immediately lost the lead to Oscar Piastri at the first corner, before tumbling to fourth.

Red Bull motorsport advisor Helmut Marko has rubbished claims that becoming a father will slow Max Verstappen down but instead make him "two-tenths faster".
Marko's comments came after the reigning world champion secured pole position for the Miami Grand Prix, his third pole in the opening six races.

The Ferrari driver was struggling on the brakes throughout the session, and only narrowly escaped Q1 after a heavy lock-up at Turn 17 cost him his first lap.
