Dino Beganovic won a frenetic and highly entertaining F2 feature race at the Madring, beating Alex Dunne by seven seconds ahead of the 2026 F1 Spanish Grand Prix.
A mid-race safety car afforded the two drivers, who started together on the front row, and Ritomo Miyata, who finished third, a cheap pit stop.
This helped them hold off the charge of the offset strategy runners, led by Mari Boya, who pitted early after the first safety car interruption and had significantly closed the gap to the leaders.
Kush Maini crashed in the opening laps, which triggered the initial disruption, and championship contender Rafael Camara pushed Oliver Goethe into the wall on the outside of Turn 2 to instigate the second, for which he was handed a 10-second time penalty, which dropped him from ninth to tenth at the chequered flag.
Prior to that, he was involved in a spirited fight with Boya and standings leader Nikola Tsolov, who tumbled down the order at the end, as they attempted to work their way past Goethe.
Initially, Tsolov made a move up into Turn 5 to head that train, but he missed the chicane and needed to hand the places back.
That opened the door for Camara, who stuck his car around the outside, slightly damaging the front wing of his title rival.
Due to the stoppages, it became a time-limited race. However, full points have been awarded for the result as 31 of 32 scheduled laps were completed.
Colton Herta, who continued to feel unwell and was withdrawn from the sprint, also did not take part in the feature race.
