The 14th round of the 2026 Formula 1 season reaches its climax today in Madrid, with Lando Norris set to lead the field away from pole position at the Madring circuit.
As has been the case throughout the weekend, conditions are expected to remain hot for Sunday's grand prix.
Temperatures at the 15:00 local start time are forecast to sit around 30°C, with the mercury potentially climbing to 31°C by the time the chequered flag falls.
There will be light winds blowing from the south and south-east, though these are expected to be minimal and are unlikely to offer much in the way of relief for either the drivers or the tyres.
Crucially, no rain is forecast, meaning teams can plan their strategies with full confidence that a dry race lies ahead.
Tyre degradation will be the primary concern in these elevated temperatures, with track surface temperatures expected to be significantly higher than the ambient readings.
Humidity levels are set to read around 27% during the race.
It promises to be a straightforward, if punishing, afternoon in the Spanish capital, but it will be important for the drivers to try to remain hydrated as theygo need to remain hydrated.
