Red Bull confirm driver plans for Bahrain F1 test

Red Bull have confirmed when Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez will be driving over the course of the second pre-season test.

Red Bull have decided their driver schedule for the second pre-season test ahead of the 2022 season, with Formula 1 heading for a three-day event at the Bahrain International Circuit later this week.

The test will run from Thursday 10 March to Saturday 12 March.

RacingNews365.com understands that the team will run Sergio Perez for the first day of action on Thursday, with the Mexican having set the fastest Red Bull time on the final day in Barcelona.

Reigning World Champion Max Verstappen will take over the RB18 on Friday, while both drivers will share responsibilities on the final day. The exact schedule for Saturday is yet to be confirmed.

Williams have also confirmed their line-up, with Alex Albon driving on Thursday, Nicholas Latifi on Friday and again on Saturday morning, with Albon finishing up the test on Saturday afternoon.
