Pierre Gasly has vowed to "fight for it with my team" after losing his Monaco Grand Prix podium due to a controversial penalty.
Gasly finished third on the road, but received two five-second time penalties for speeding in the pit lane, which dropped him to seventh in the final results.
However, a number of drivers, including George Russell, Lewis Hamilton, Oscar Piastri, and team-mate Franco Colapinto, all received pit-lane speeding penalties by around 0.1kph, indicating a potential problem with the system.
Isack Hadjar was promoted to third and kept it, following a separate investigation, as Alpine lodged a Right of Review with the FIA.
For this to be successful, the team must present "significant, new, and relevant" evidence to the stewards, which was not available at the time of their decision to award the penalties.
Taking to social media, the Frenchman wrote an emotional message and vowed to fight the penalty.
"I’m heartbroken right now… no words can describe the pain of losing a podium in Formula 1 and in the streets of Monaco, I’m devastated," Gasly wrote on Instagram.
"We crossed the finish line in 3rd today, and thats all I want to remember. I’ve dreamed about that podium thousands times, we all working very hard for years to achieve moments like today and it doesn’t feel right for it to be taken away like this.
"I really hope the right outcome can be made. We will fight for it with my team."
