It is clear from the overview below that at the time of writing, mainly the traditional circuits have short-term contracts.

Circuits such as Silverstone, Suzuka, Monza, Monaco, Spa and Zandvoort have contracts that expire sometime in the next three years.

The announcement of Madrid taking over the Spanish Grand Prix from Barcelona in 2026, also places the long-term future of the latter in doubt.

On the flip side, countries such as Brazil, Australia and Hungary all enjoy long-term security with contracts into the mid-2030s.

Grands Prix with long-term contracts

If we look at the circuits with long-term F1 contracts, we also see large sums of money among them. Countries such as Saudi Arabia, Abu Dhabi, Qatar and Bahrain pay huge sums to ensure some of the most sought after spots on the calendar, including the opener and finale.

Some notable Grands Prix are those in Las Vegas and Miami.

Miami has partnered with the organization, while F1 co-owns the race in Las Vegas. There is a contract through 2025, but Vegas has already granted permission for F1 to race in Sin City at least through 2032.

Check below the overview of all current F1 contracts.

*The street race in Madrid will be on the calendar from 2026, as part of an original deal lasting until 2035.
