Race 1 of the Nürburgring 24 Hours Qualifiers has been called off by race control following a multi-car pile-up that caused the fatality of racing driver Juha Miettinen.
Just before the half-hour mark of the four-hour race at the Nordschleife, a crash involving seven vehicles took place at the Karussell, with the red flag brought out soon after, at 17:55 local time.
Full information about the crash can be located [HERE].
There will be no classification issued for the race.
