Oliver Oakes was appointed team principal at Alpine in July 2024. The successor to Bruno Famin is well-known in motorsport and the founder of Hitech GP. However, after the Miami Grand Prix in 2025, it was announced that Oakes had stepped down as team principal of the French team, after which Flavio Briatore took over his duties.
