Lando Norris has escaped punishment from the Singapore Grand Prix stewards following his collision with McLaren team-mate Oscar Piastri in the sprint race.
On the final lap of the Sprint at the Marina Bay Street Circuit, with Piastri running ahead in fourth, Norris attempted to pass the sister car at Turn 5 with a lunge to the inside, only for his left-front tyre to tag Piastri's right-rear, sending both cars spinning off.
Piastri hit the barrier and retired on the spot whilst Norris was able to get going again and finished in eighth place, picking up a single point, albeit with the incident costing McLaren eight points, having been on for a haul of nine with a four-five finish.
The incident was sent to the stewards, with Norris allegedly causing a collision, only to avoid a penalty.
A stewards' report read: "The driver of car 1 [Norris] attempted to overtake car 81 [Piastri] on the inside at Turn 5. A collision occurred at the apex.
"The driver of car 81 explained that he had not expected car 1 to attempt an overtake and, after turning in, noticed car 1 on the inside and attempted to leave space.
"The driver of car 1 said that he saw an opportunity to overtake. He said that the front axle of his car was ahead of the mirror of car 81 prior to the apex and therefore expected to be left space.
"As he approached the apex, the space was less than he had anticipated, so he had to use the inside kerb and braked, and a collision occurred.
"The stewards considered that both drivers had contributed to the incident and that neither was wholly or predominantly to blame for the collision.
"Therefore, the stewards determined to take no further action
