A majority of F1 fans have asserted McLaren should not favour one of its drivers in the fight against Max Verstappen.
Verstappen has won twice in the last three races and has narrowed the deficit to championship leader Oscar Piastri to 66 points.
With six rounds remaining on the calendar and three of those being sprint events, it would take a dramatic turnaround for Verstappen to overcome the gap to the head of the standings.
However, McLaren does not appear to be as competitive as it was in the first half of the campaign, leaving some pundits to suggest the Woking-based squad should favour one of its drivers to ensure it brings home the championship.
It prompted RacingNews365 to ask you, the fans, if you believe McLaren should favour one of the drivers or provide an equal opportunity.
Over half of the responses asserted they would like to see McLaren remain balanced.
Almost 40 per cent of votes, however, suggested that McLaren should give preferential treatment to championship leader Piastri.
