The new driver ratings for the F1 25 video game have been released, with four-time champion Max Verstappen leading the way.

Verstappen entered the new F1 campaign looking to claim his fifth F1 title in a row, but has faced a challenging start with just one win in the opening six rounds.

Oscar Piastri has been the man in form as his four wins place him atop the driver standings.

However, the Australian is not favoured in the F1 25 ratings as he places eighth overall.

Seven-time champion Lewis Hamilton endured a difficult final few seasons with Mercedes ahead of his switch to Ferrari this year.

Hamilton places sixth overall in the rankings, behind Carlos Sainz who made way for the 40-year-old at Ferrari.

F1 25 will release at the end of May on PlayStation, Xbox and PC.

Developers of the game have four categories to judge a driver - experience (EXP), racecraft (RAC), awareness (AWA) and pace (PAC).
