Max Verstappen faces a second trip to the Japanese Grand Prix stewards' office following another frustrating practice incident.
The Red Bull driver was initially involved in an incident with old rival Lewis Hamilton late in FP1 as they approached the 130R.
The Ferrari driver was noted, and then investigated by the FIA, for allegedly driving unnecessarily slowly, erratically or in a manner deemed potentially dangerous to other drivers.
In the second practice session at Suzuka, Verstappen was again the unfortunate victim, with Alpine's Franco Colapinto the culprit.
Twenty minutes into the session, Colapinto was weaving along the straight, again into 130R, with Verstappen arriving swiftly behind the Argentine driver, and needing to brake sharply
Colapinto was cited by the stewards for driving erratically. Sky Sports F1 analyst Karun Chandhok described Colapinto as "asleep" for not looking in his mirrors, and the incident "unacceptable".
