Max Verstappen has suffered a dismal start to the Miami Grand Prix, spinning in the second corner and tumbling down the order.
The Red Bull driver was fighting Charles Leclerc for the lead in Florida, after polesitter Kimi Antonelli locked up and ran wide at the first corner.
There appeared to be contact between the Ferrari driver and the four-time F1 drivers' champion, who completed a 360 spin whilst the ensuing pack engulfed his RB22.
However, replays showed he spun independently of Leclerc.
He tumbled down the order to ninth, spending the rest of the lap battling those around him, making contact multiple times in an aggressive first lap. It is not yet clear if he has sustained damage to his car.
