Max Verstappen graciously reacted to Kimi Antonelli apologising to him in the media pen following the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, after the Dutchman lost the F1 drivers' championship to Lando Norris by two points.
The Red Bull driver took pole at the Yas Marina Circuit and stormed to victory, but with Briton finishing third, he was unable to retain the crown he has held since 2021.

Lando Norris has chosen which number he will race with in the 2026 F1 season, his first campaign as world champion after defeating Max Verstappen and Oscar Piastri across the 2025 campaign.
The McLaren driver will temporarily shelve his regular number 4 in order to assume the number 1 from the Red Bull driver, who finished second in the standings.

Helmut Marko to leave Red Bull at the end of the year - report
It has been reported that Red Bull motorsport advisor Helmut Marko will leave the Milton Keynes-based outfit at the end of the year.
Following the season-ending Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, Marko confirmed that he would soon make a decision on his future.

Oliver Bearman now sits just two penalty points away from receiving an F1 race ban after picking up another penalty in Abu Dhabi.
During the season finale around the Yas Marina Circuit, Bearman was caught up in a battle with Aston Martin's Lance Stroll.
