Former F1 driver Logan Sargeant will make his return to racing in September, having signed up to race in the final two rounds of the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship.

Sargeant will race in the LMP2 class for PR1/Mathiasen Motorsports' and will have his outings at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and Road Atlanta.

FIA reveal plans to prevent Mercedes-like dominance and F1 team 'humiliation'

FIA single-seater director Nikolas Tombazis has explained how the motorsport governing body hopes to prevent any F1 engine manufacturers from being "humiliated forever" by the new-for-2026 power unit regulations.

The Greek engineer has also detailed why he does not believe any single OEM (original equipment manufacturer) will enjoy the same level of dominance that Mercedes did when F1 last changed its engine rules in 2014.

Franco Colapinto dealt crushing Flavio Briatore warning: 'You're a disposable item'

Franco Colapinto has been dealt a crushing warning by former F1 driver Martin Brundle, that Alpine executive advisor Flavio Briatore views drivers as a "disposable item".

The warning follows what has been a disastrous period for the Argentinian since he replaced Jack Doohan ahead of the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix.
