The first free practice session had a familiar look to it at the top of the standings with Valtteri Bottas, Max Verstappen, and Lewis Hamilton locking out the top three positions.
Behind them, it was McLaren's Lando Norris who had yet another impressive showing with Ferrari pair Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz completing the top six.
